Marzotto, corporate partner of Startupbootcamp Fashiontech, among the mentors in charge to the selection of the 11 best start up

Milan, December 2019 - Established about a year ago for the launch in Milan of a global innovation hub dedicated to the fashion sector, the Fashiontech programme, an integral part of Startupbootcamp, the main European start-up accelerator with programmes on an international scale, sees Marzotto among its main corporate partners, a reference point in the world of textile production with a history of over 180 years.

On 11 and 12 December 2019, Marzotto has been called as mentor in the selection of the 11 best start-ups that, through a rigorous selection process, will be able to participate in the Fashiontech program and will be hosted in Milan for a 13-week bootcamp that will allow them to grow exponentially through a wide network of business partners and investors.

Giorgio Todesco, CEO of Marzotto Wool Manufacturing, commented: "We are very proud to participate in this program that has seen us involved from the beginning in the selection of the 1219 participating start-ups, in the evaluation, among these, of 221 to arrive at 6 pm today from which we will choose the 11 best. I believe that it is essential not only for us but for the entire Italian industrial sector to expand the commitment to support growth programs for startups. They will allow us to accelerate innovation and increase access to new skills that will help all Italians, from young entrepreneurs to local businesses, to strengthen the digital ecosystem of the country and promote progress".
