Project QUID is a sustainable fashion brand created in Verona. The brand regenerates Made in Italy fine fabrics, handcrafted by women victim of violence, human trafficking, disabled women, former drug addict, inmates or former inmates. The brand aims at providing a new work opportunity for these women, who have the chance to take part to activities that stimulate their creative talent and sensitivity to beauty.
Women account for the largest part of the employees, more than 100, and two of the many production labs are located inside the penitentiary “Montorio”, Verona.
The project combines social and human support with the ambition to produce sustainable clothing. Marzotto is among some of the most important Italian companies that support this project, by donating several meters of fabrics each year.
The new collection Fall/Winter 2018, with a capsule collection dedicated to wool fabrics by Marzotto, premiered on the 6th of October 2018 at the opening of a single brand store in Via Rosa 6, Verona, the sixth store opened in Italy.
