L'attenzione per i diritti dei lavoratori - Marzotto Tessuti
WE INVEST IN SOCIALLY IMPACTING ACTIONS
The respect for human rights defined by international conventions and declarations includes all the families of our employees and all those we deal with on a daily basis, from public to private sectors.
In addition to the respect for workers' rights, for the agreements signed with union organizations and for the principles on which the safety of workers are based, we have always been very supportive to the families of our workers. In the early years of the twentieth century, we created the “Social City”, an innovative district made of houses for our employees and their families, based on cultural, leisure and sport activities.
CONCERN FOR HUMAN RIGHTS, OUR TOP PRIORITY
We are committed to reject any form of child labour, forced labour and discrimination, as we ensure that all our workers have the same opportunities of employment and professional growth, in addition to fair treatment based on merit criteria, and protecting and promoting the health and safety of our workers.
CONCERN FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF WORKERS
We are strongly determined to respecting and complying with the standards for health and safety of workers and the communities in which they operate, in order to prevent accidents and occupational diseases and, at the same time, encouraging the improvement of the psychophysical conditions and the wellbeing of people.
