We comply with the ZDHC programme, through which we pledge to take a preventative and precautionary approach to chemical management, which opens the way to innovation and best practices in the textile sector, and which protects consumers, workers and the environment. The ZDHC Program (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) identifies several actions to be taken to eliminate hazardous substances from the global textile industry. In particular, we would like to highlight the following:

• Eliminating or replacing hazardous chemicals

• Developing effective tools, good practices and training to improve chemical management

• Developing collaboration with all parties concerned to promote the approach to sustainable chemistry and verification of environmental discharges to protect nature and public health

This is the certification that certifies the value of a company's social benefits, through the evaluation of nine areas that define corporate social responsibility in the workplace.

Also in this case, the management system is oriented towards the continuous improvement in all areas envisaged by the standard. It is a strict code aimed at guaranteeing fundamental rights, according to the provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization (ILO).

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world’s best-known labels for textile products tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety.

The "OEKO-TEX" international certification is the international standard that tests, guarantees and certifies, at every level of processing, raw materials, semi-finished products, accessories and finished products in the textile sector. More than 90% of Marzotto products are STANDARD 100 certified by OEKO-TEX®.

GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard, the most rigorous international certification for the sustainable production of textile products made with natural fibres. This standard of excellence certifies that our processes are strictly eco-sustainable and socially responsible, from the collection of raw materials to the finished fabric. Our organic collections come from sheep farms and 100% organic agriculture, in complete respect of the environment and workers' rights. Furthermore, they do not involve the use of polluting and intoxicating chemicals. Our fabrics are a guarantee of ethics and responsibility for each customer.

“The Woolmark Logo” is one of the most authoritative certifications in the wool world. In fact, it is a guarantee of global high quality of the entire supply chain. The brand testifies to Marzotto's commitment to respecting the end consumer, and ensuring the ethics, quality and performance of the selected and processed wool. To become part of the network of certified producers and brands with "The Woolmark Logo", it is, in fact, necessary to pass numerous certification processes, in order for the tests to confirm the quality of the wool in terms of structure, durability and washability.
