Marzotto and the Clean Fashion Project

People are our most important value, so we promote formation activities because the made-in Italy fashion and textiles need increasingly specialized figures, who today are difficult to find. In addition to supporting internal training projects, we dialogue and network with local communities and our territories, supporting initiatives aimed at the development and professional growth of workers and companies close to us.

For this reason, we had the pleasure of contributing to the Clean Fashion project, a training course organized by Confartigianato Vicenza in collaboration with the Ritex Research Center, which offers seminars and educational meetings on textile technology. The didactic activities intend to strengthen knowledge of manufacturing and treatments related to textiles-fashion and cleaning laundry so that companies succeed in solving multiple criticalities of maintenance processes and respond even more effectively to the customer needs.

The visitors, supported by the Marzotto team, were able to examine the various production processes within the wool mill departments, specifically by focusing on washing operations, and acquire greater skills in textile fibers and wool manufacture, analyzing all the supply chain, starting from the Australian farms arriving at the final product. Through a visit to the physicochemical laboratory, the group could learn about the studies and control procedures carried out on fabrics and get to know the company’s attention to sustainable development practices.

The workshop was an occasion of interaction and exchange of interesting inputs, which encouraged the professional growth of the participants.
