MARZOTTO GROUP SIGNS THE SAFETY PROTOCOL APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF MICROBIOLOGY AND VIROLOGY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF PADUA

Marzotto is pleased to announce that in order to better face the ongoing health emergency, and allow for a safe return to work, Marzotto Group has developed, shared and signed the Safety Protocol with the national trade unions, which has been approved by the department of microbiology and virology of the University of Padua directed by Professor Andrea Crisanti. The document contains important rules to ensure the safety for all staff: the provision of disposable masks and gloves for all workers, the measurement of everyone’s temperature before entering the Group's offices and factories, as well as the sanitation and the periodic sanitization of the rooms. The company has also given precise indications on the preference for smart-working for those who can carry out their work remotely, the protection of the most vulnerable due to health conditions, the adoption of procedures aimed at avoiding gatherings in canteens, changing rooms and break areas, and the coordination with local authorities to ensure safety on public transport, if used appropriately by staff to access the company.

"The health and safety of workers is essential for our Group - comments Davide Favrin, CEO of Marzotto Group - the Safety Protocol was created out of the initiatives implemented for the protection of workers in the initial stages of the spread of the pandemic.
We have taken action at all levels, even reorganizing operational and production tasks to eliminate all conditions that involved interpersonal distances of less than one metre. I thank the Department of Microbiology and Virology of the University of Padua and the trade unions that shared it with us for their important collaboration."
