On Saturday, September 21, 2019, the annual General Meeting of Confindustria Vicenza was held at the headquarters of the Marzotto Group in Valdagno.

The central topic of the meeting was the question addressed to the economic future of Italy for 2039: "Those being born today, which kind of country will find in twenty years?"


The General Assembly of Industrialists opened with speeches by Luciano Vescovi, President of Confindustria Vicenza, and Antonio Favrin, President of the Marzotto Group, who stressed the importance of keep working in a constantly evolving context.

Then there were the speeches of the CEO of Ipsos Italia Nando Pagnoncelli, who illustrated the data of the current economic situation in Italy in the various industrial sectors.


Enrico Cereda (President and CEO IBM Italy), Davide Favrin (CEO Marzotto Spa) and Alessandro Masala (Breaking Italy) in the round table discussed the attractiveness of Italy for the new generations.

The meeting ended with a double interview with Luciano Vescovi and the Governor of Veneto Luca Zaia hosted by Francesca Baraghini (SkyTg24) and Fabio Tamburini (Director of Il Sole 24 ore and Radio24) and with the participation of the Italian Government.
